4 p.m., local time, the whakamoemiti (blessing) by the Kaumatua (the
eldest) Haki Waikato, an important Maori ceremony, made the mark on
the other side official in the community and thus established in Mangere,
Auckland, New Zealand . The Kaikaranga (the caller) also plays an important
role in the ceremony. Rangitahi Te Anga (Rango) performed the calling
today. I gave a short speech and there was a group of students and
teachers that sang traditional Maori songs. |
